DIY Deep Conditioning Tips.

Healthy hair can be stretched up to 30% of it’s length when wet.

If you do this and your hair does not return to it’s original state/length this could mean that it’s lacking protein. Solution: bi-weekly protein rich deep conditioner. Maximum 3-4 times a month.

If, however, it snaps/breaks this means that your hair has either too much protein or is too dry and needs more moisture. Solution: Reduce your protein rich deep conditioner routine to once a month at most and make sure to keep your hair extra moisturised with the Moisture Boost Daily Spritz and the Intense Moisture Cream.


​A quick tip for making a super easy deep conditioner:

Mix 90ml of mayonnaise (whichever brand you like, obviously I wouldn’t take flavoured Lol) with 15ml honey (this will add shine and moisture to your hair) and 30ml of your favourite oil plus a overripe (very well-mashed) banana or avocado – mix together well and apply it to your hair after your acv rinse (as per the Easy Peasy Routine). Leave it in for about 30 minutes and rinse. Voila!! Happy Hair :)

Remember to complete the process with a cool rinse to reseal the hair shaft. I've tried this and LOVED it. You can also add coconut milk (great source of protein).
